All About Bilinguals provides comprehensive evaluations and consultations for private identities and school districts with Spanish/Portuguese bilingual and multicultural school age children. We specialize in these assessments as they can be significantly challenging due to the numbers of influences and individual characteristics present in those who use more than one language.
Our in-person assessments typically provide file review, parent's interviews, teacher's questionnaire, language survey, formal and informal evaluations, along with classroom observations to aid with timelines for IEP (Individual Education Plan) meetings.
Following the evaluation process, results are presented with a comprehensive analysis for parents, teachers and meeting members including a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative report to identify any real need of the student. Analysis of the results are linked to academic performance, expectations and intervention.
With every case being unique, the manor of evaluation and the tools used in the evaluation process are crafted to best suit the individual's needs. Although our methods of evaluation follow 'best pratice' as dictated by ASHA and other governing bodies, we use the cutting edge of research and service delivery concepts pressing the standards forward for better outcomes in the field.
