ASHA (American Hearing-Speech-Language Association) is the nation's leading professional, credentialing, and scientific organization for speech-language pathologists, audiologists, and speech/language/hearing scientists. Holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), is a nationally recognized professional credential that represents a level of excellence in the field of Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). ASHA has been has been certifying professionals since 1952 and initiated the development of national standards for the profession collaborating with the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in developing the national examinations for certification.
As the principal at All About Bilinguals, Danaee Donovan, has achieved the CCC-SLP ASHA certification
voluntarily meeting rigorous academic and professional standards, which typically goes well beyond
minimum requirements for State licensure. She has the knowledge, skills, and expertise to provide high
quality clinical services and actively engages in ongoing professional development to keep her certification
and membership at the cutting edge.
Danaee Donovan, faculty member at San Diego State University, is a clinical supervisor for the Master of
Arts in Speech-Language Pathology Program specificaly working to advance the bilingual-multilingual practitioner's
knowlwdge and abitilities in this concentration. She also holds a position as researcher for the San Diego State
University Reseach Foundation. These academic acheivements are a testiment to a lifelong passion in the field.
Danaee Donovan belongs to Massachusetts Association for Bilingual Education (MABE) a nonprofit organization for educators, families, and policy makers promoting and disseminate research-based programs and practices that support bilingualism and multiculturalism for educational success.
Danaee Donovan is also a member of the Colegio Venezolano de Fonoaudiólogos, Audiólogos y Terapistas del Lenguaje (FONATEL) continuing her unique international perspective as a multilingual specialist in the field working toward fostering relationships for professional enrichment at the field, institutional and academic levels.
A current business certificate has been issued by Framingham Massachusetts where the principal office for All About Bilinguals is located. These certifcates are required for non incorporated businesses located within the city which are conducting business under a name other than one's own personal name (DBA).
In addition to the certification above, Danaee Donovan holds licensure in good standing as issued by the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology under the Division of Professional Licensure in the State of Massachusetts and by the Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board under the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs.
